For an important Client Company, global leader in industrial process fluids, Adecco is looking for a IT Technology Specialist.
The IT Technology specialist is responsible for providing reliable regional IT support within the regional organization, ensuring high levels of service for performance. They will also be responsible for managing security levels and patches in relation to regional IT infrastructures, including documentation, communication and implementation of related policies and procedures.
The position holder acts as a business partner or responsible for IT projects and regional IT solutions.
Job Responsibilities/Activities:
To manage the regional IT infrastructure security, including physical access to IT infrastructure, remote access, file servers, data backups and ensure the secure return or disposal of IT equipment containing data based on policies and guidelines from the organization. (10%)
Installs new computer and telecommunication hardware and software in the regional server room(s) as well as and maintains existing hardware and software (25%)
Provide 2nd line support for incidents and problems that could not be solved by the 1st line support team. May provide support at the site level including:
Maintenance and servicing of local networks, PCs and laptops, mobile phones, VoIP phones, conferencing, and other IT equipment/Troubleshooting hardware and software problems/Administering local business user accounts for new and reassigned employees by maintaining the user groups in Active Directory, as well as password resets/Closing out local helpdesk tickets in a timely manner (20 %)
Provide Basic Project management input and analysis for all IT projects at site. (20%)
Skills:
Experience with Microsoft networked environments
Experience of managing LAN, WAN, Wireless and PBX/VOIP technologies
Experience of establishing, monitoring and ensuring adherence to policies and procedures
Experience of liaising with external suppliers
Experience with managing/leading projects
Fluent in English and Italian
