Our Client is a consulting firm specialized in all aspects of corporate security.

Located in Lugano (CH), with experience gained in special forces and multinational companies, our Client is one of the leading experts in the assessment, review, correction, training and application of security procedures and systems, with a growing impact of high-tech security solutions.

To enforce its Management team, we are looking for an:


Reporting to the CEO, you will be responsible for identifying and securing relationships with new customers by proactively undertaking a variety of sales activities, especially through online and mobile technologies, in order to achieve targets.

In this newly created role, you will:

Carry out market analysis, aimed at determining the correct positioning of the Client’s products and services, also in relation to P&L management (margins, pricing, etc.).
Generate business leads, using both digital and physical communication channels, participating in meetings and trade fairs, including international ones.
Supporting Top Management in Strategic and Business Development decisions.
Consider the company’s product and services portfolio to design an effective up-selling and cross-selling business strategy.
Define the go-to-market strategy and target potential customers and partners.
Establish strong international links and networks.
Prepare reports in terms of sales and market strategies for Top Management.
Promote, monitor, analyze and report on the effectiveness of projects to meet strategic and income generation objectives.
Research and build relationships with new clients, developing a rapport and providing support that will continually improve the relationship.
Support the technical team during the preparation of orders and contracts.

The ideal Candidate should have a degree or postgraduate qualification in a management/business subject and be able to speak and write in English to an advanced level.
At least 10 years’ experience in business development: an understanding of the corporate and/or high-tech security is a plus.
A track record of successfully generating income through the development of new business relationships.
Experience of identification of customer needs in relation to the provision of bespoke services.
Evidence of independent and proactive working, strategic planning and prioritization of business opportunities.
Demonstrable ability to work by KPIs and deadlines.
Ability to research prospective leads to identify potential for commercial engagement.
Good problem-solving skills with the ability to find solutions to issues when they arise.
Excellent and influential communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate with a wide variety of stakeholders and to build strong business relationships.
Ability to prioritize workload effectively and achieve results under pressure, working to tight time constraints and managing conflicting priorities.
Highly organized, self-motivated and committed, with the ability to work effectively in a group and use own initiative when undertaking work individually.
