The candidate will join the Traditional Investments team, currently managing a large multi-asset fund of funds (2.2BN AUM) and three Government bond funds (700M AUM), working directly with the two main portfolio managers and being involved in the investment process.
MAIN TASKS
Contribute to the multi-asset investment process.
Assist the multi-asset investment team with the creation of allocation views.
Develop and maintain a proprietary valuation tool.
Generate bespoke investment strategy proposals, both directional and relative value.
Provide support to thematic research and investment implementation (factors, style, size, niches).
Communicate (both verbally and in writing) with investors when necessary.
Maintain a good knowledge base of underlying portfolio funds and their current investment themes.
REQUIREMENTS
Education and training
Master Degree in Economics or Finance and working experience (3-5 years) in asset management or investment bank.
Technical skills and competences
Proven skills on asset allocation and/or equity research, preferably 3 years or more of relevant experience (equity a plus).
A multi asset experience within large institutions with a well-defined investment process and track record is appreciated.
MS Office.
Bloomberg (PORT).
Data Analysis Tools (MS Excel, Matlab or similar).
Personal skills and competences
Team player with strong interpersonal skills.
An independent thinker.
Great flexibility.
Analytical capabilities and good quantitative expertise required.
Strong presentation and communication skills and a deep level of investment knowledge.
The highest ethical standards and integrity. A very good command of English is essential.
